Prepping for classes is important – find out how below.
SIGN IN SHEET
Make sure you claim that bike! If you signed up in advance, your name will be listed on the sign-in sheet next to your bike number. You will be asked to initial for your bike, so that we know you’re here. Note: If you’re not signed in 4 minutes before your class, your bike may be released so it pays to arrive on time.
NEW RIDER WAIVER
New to EF studio? We need your info. Fill out a Waiver and review Safety Instructions when you arrive or bring it with you.
*please note, under 18 must have their parent or guardian sign the waiver in person!
Just like attending any other gym or fitness class, we suggest you wear comfortable trainers designed for exercise.
Trust us on this one… you’ll want some water on that bike. We have water available for sale but of course you can bring your own.
Your stuff is safe at Evolve – we have lockers where you can keep personal effects. Please ensure you lock it and keeps the keys with you during your stay. However all keys must be returned once you have taken your stuff out.
Yes, you’ll need to adjust:
1) Seat height
2) Fore/aft seat position
3) Handlebar Height
If you’re new to cycling, arrive early and ask the front desk for assistance. They will record your settings and add them to your rider profile (how cool is that?)
Safety First – you may want to chat with your doctor before your first exercise class. Also, if you’re new to indoor cycling or to a particular instructor, please let us know – we are happy to answer any questions. We were all new riders at one time!
Before class, make sure to check that all pins are tight, that your cycling shoes are secure in the pedals, and that you test the brake. Our instructors are motivational leaders who will inspire you to push yourself, but please listen to your body and work at a pace that is comfortable for you. Stay hydrated, and refill your water bottle on your way out! If you experience any unusual or persistent symptoms after your ride, please don’t hesitate to seek medical attention.
Can’t make your class? Bummer! Just make sure you cancel by 5:00 PM the previous evening. Please note that if you don’t cancel your class by the 5PM the night before, your class will be charged to your account. Clients can cancel their classes online or by calling the studios.
To switch your bike after booking you’ll need to cancel your existing reservation and re-book the bike you prefer. You may also call the studio — if we have any open bikes we’ll be happy to make the switch for you.
We suggest wearing light weight workout clothing that isn’t too loose, and socks!
